Discover one of Las Vegas’ best-kept secrets — a stunning, historic garden and garden center facility tucked inside Lorenzi Park. For decades, members of the Nevada Garden Clubs have lovingly planted, tended, and nurtured this property and fenced green oasis. Their dedication has transformed it into a peaceful sanctuary full of mature trees, native plants, and stories from generations of local gardeners.

Now, as many of our longtime members grow older, we’re inviting the community to help us preserve this treasured space for future generations.

 Why Volunteer?

This isn’t just a clean-up day — it’s a chance to:

• Learn from Nevada’s most experienced gardeners who have cultivated this garden for years.

• Give back to a historic Las Vegas landmark deeply rooted in the community.

• Enjoy hands-on gardening in a peaceful, welcoming space rarely seen by the public.

• Support older volunteers who would love your help with some of the heavier lifting.

• Build friendships, enjoy the outdoors, and grow your gardening skills.

 What We’ll Do

Activities vary by season, but may include:
 Light pruning
 Plant care and watering
 Raking and pathways cleanup
 Supporting garden restoration projects
 Removing debris and refreshing planting areas

All tools and guidance are provided. Just bring comfortable clothes, water, and a willingness to learn!

Anyone who:

• Loves plants or wants to learn

• Enjoys spending time outdoors

• Values historic spaces and community projects

• Wants to support Nevada’s aging gardening community

• Seeks a peaceful, meaningful volunteer experience

Families, students, garden enthusiasts, service groups, and first-time gardeners are all welcome!
